A RIDERS’ FALL WITH THEIR MOUNTAIN BIKING INJURIES, WE’RE TALKING ABOUT NO PAIN NO GAIN!

At the Episode 5 of MTB Injuries, it’s focusing on the upper body. Chest, ribs and spine, a very sensitive injuries for bikers and extremely serious. In this video, three men experienced mountain biking injury. First was Florent Payet, who got an injury in his vertebra. Laying on a bed for three weeks and he thought that it was harder for him to go back in sport. Spine is very complex part of our body. Second was Marcelo Gutierrez Villegas, dislocated his collarbone and cracked three ribs. He had to stay in Japan for two weeks and Villegas thought he was over. And the third person was Troy Brosnan, experienced internal injury specifically in his spleen while he was jumping and lean in sideways.

Florent Payet before he got an injury at 1:35. Riders should always wear protection. The protection for spine should begin in neck to lower spine, helmet for head, cycling glasses and body armour. Warm up before riding a bike and make sure the bike is in good shape.
