AN AMAZING MOUNTAIN BIKE JOURNEY AT THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN IN AFRICA!

HANS REY, DANNY MACASKILL AND GERHARD CZERNER’S MOUNTAIN BIKE JOURNEY AT KILIMANJARO, THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN IN AFRICA!

Hans Rey, Danny MacAskill and Gerhard Czerner decided to have a journey in mountain bike in an intense altitude and health risks. One of their hottest trip is to ascend and descend on a mountain bike in Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. They considered it as a warm up. Biking on these highest mountain is four times effort in regular trekking. While they were biking in different mountains, they met some people who lived there and gave them bikes and show them some tricks on mountain bike. These three riders are pioneers in mountain bike trials and loves to conquer a bike journey in a high mountains. Hans Rey showed his inspiring career in biking for thirty years and reveal some of his best trials. Danny MacAskill is scottish trial cyclist and professionally working as a street trial. While Gerhard Czerner makes a living from cycling. He prefer to sit in his mountain bike rather than in car or in office.

It was something I had thought about doing for a long time since my first trip to the region back in 2004. 12 years later we went for it! Danny had never done anything like this. As amazing of an athlete as he is this was serious commitment for him to make without years of conditioning, I was super excited to have him along for the ride.” – Hans Rey

They were achieving on top of the mountain with their bikes at 0:26. It is challenging to go mountain biking in a high altitude. Though there is a disadvantage that will cause altitude sickness by gaining height and start to feel the effects of altitude at the pressure goes down and there will be less oxygen that would fuel in your body. The best way to minimize altitude sickness is to make sure that you’re going to ascend moderate pace. Make sure to drink four to six liters per day even if you’re not thirsty just to remain hydrated.

Hans Rey, Danny MacAskill and Gerhard Czerner were biking in the middle of high altitude at 1:38. Be sure to prepare oneself before biking on a high altitude. When you are at a high altitude, you will experienced breath shortness, get tired faster and will note be able to exert more at normal level.
