JEFF KENDALL-WEED AND THE NEW RIPMO BIKE WITH AN OVERLOOKING VIEW OF LOS ANGELES!

JEFF KENDALL-WEED BROUGHT THE NEW RIPMO ABOVE THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES AND RIDES IT WITH AN OVERLOOKING VIEW!

Take a look as Jeff Kendall-Weed rides the new bike Ripmo at the City of Angels. When you hear the word Los Angeles, I bet the city view first pops up on your mind. But some mountain bikers probably have no idea that there are singletrack in the hills above the city.  On the first day, he went to Simi Valley with the team, second day at Altadena and on the last day at Chilao Region.

“The Ripmo is a bike we’ve been wanting to make for a while now. Think of it as a mashup of the Ripley’s balance and speed, coupled with the Mojo HD4’s capabilities when things get hairy. With a sub six pound frame and 145mm of efficient dw-link rear wheel travel (160mm front), this is the most versatile bike we’ve ever built. It also marks a dramatic shift in our approach to geometry. The end result is a bike that’s ready to rally, while still maintaining lively handling.” – Ibis (https://www.ibiscycles.com)

Ripmo’s wheel size is 29” / up to 2.6″ tires, a front travel of 160 mm, rear travel of 145mm, boost axles with 148mm rear/110mm front. Seatpost diameter of 31.6mm, in a post mount rear brake or 203mm max rotor. Chainstay length of 435mm in a 73mm English threaded of bottom bracket. ISCG O5 Compatible in an optional removable adapter and tapered headtube ZS44 upper/ZS56 lower. Sizes from small to extra large and choose from the colors tangerine sky or black olive.
