ENDURO RACER ROBIN WALLNER RIDES THE NEW IBIS CYCLE’S RIPMO AT SANTA CRUZ, CALIFORNIA AND SHARES THIS THOUGHTS ABOUT IT!
Robin Wallner is a 28 year old enduro racer originated from Stockholm and lived in Sweden. He rides for Ibis Cycles Enduro team. His favorite trails venue is La Thuile. After the first ride review of Ryan Palmer, he decided to ride the ripmo, the long travel 29er.
“Climb up, rip down, it’s just that simple with the ripmo.” – Joe Mackey, Mountain Bike Action
Robin Wallner doing it right and cool at 0:19! Ripmo has 145 mm/5.7″ rear travel, 160mm/6.5″ front travel, 29″ wheels/2.6 ” tires. When it comes to suspension, it is unmistakably Ibis. It is a mashup of Ripley’s balance and speed and the Mojo’s capability. It has a longer wheelbase but it feels light footed enough to switchback and rapid direction changes. A kind of bike that could defend the World Championship crown.
“The Ripmo has the capability of an enduro race bike, with the ride-ability of an everyday trail whip.” – Ryan Palmer
Another jump of Robin Wallner with the new Ripmo at 1:00. He enjoys riding it obviously!
