LOIC BRUNI TAKES AN ADVENTURE AT QUEENSTOWN, NEW ZEALAND
Loic Bruni is the current DH Elite Men’s World Champion and one of the best mountain bikers. He spends most of his time riding a mountain bike in Queenstown to master his skills and get a lot of laps out of the bike. And he also answered some questions from Pinkbike. Gravity do the work on cross country and downhill mountain bike rides with right suspension, a full-face helmet and body armor are very essential for having a first good experience and protects your body. Position your body properly when downhill biking. If you’re too far forward, you’ll getting over the bars. Remember to lower your center mass, soften your elbows and knees, look ahead, balance your body weight, and control your braking. It is important to use brakes to take corners properly and prepare for jumps and obstacles not just slowing down.

Braking becomes ability to make you a better mountain bike rider. It may be silly sometimes, but braking properly makes you get down the hill faster. Try not to hesitate when you reach turns, obstacles or jumps because cross country and downhill bike can easily roll over obstacles. Roots are one of the most common obstacles on a trail. Just be prepared and stay confident while riding on mountain bike.

“We’ve working all winter pretty much everyone I think so it starts early and I do a lot of cross country riding road bike and gym and this winter I change my trainer so I’have never felt so good before so I’m really excited to see if it’s actually the strength or if just a mental issues. A lot of gym, a lot of balance thing to try also prevent injuries.” – Loic Bruni
