DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HIGH DO PROFESSIONALS HAVE THEIR HANDLEBARS?

RIC MCLAUGHLIN WILL GIVE US AN IDEA ON HOW HIGH DO PROFESSIONALS HAVE THEIR HANDLEBARS ON MOUNTAIN BIKE!

Ric McLaughlin was at Montagnes Du Carcoux, France for round 3 Enduro World Series race. There are some of professionals made a discussion about the height of their handlebars such as Theo Galv, Kenta Gallagher, Isabeau Courdurier, Sam Hill, Mitch Ropelato, Cecile Ravanel, Iago Garay, Jesse Melamed, Remi Gauvin, Jerome Clementz, Matt Simmonds, and Ines Thoma. They have different height on their handlebars but they don’t know how long it was. Hence, Ric is the one who calculated it using his tape measure. There’s no perfect measurement for the handlebar’s height because this is based on rider’s preference.

Handlebars on the mountain bike should position properly to your handle height because sometimes it was overlooked for it is an essential step in creating your perfect ride whether you’re hunting aerodynamic gains or a comfortable ride. Nonetheless, if the bike has a short head tube it would place the handlebars on a lower position and if the handlebars are too low it could cause soreness at the back.

Ines Thoma have the highest handlebar among the other rider with 1100mm at 5:30.

“With 1100mm, I feel cool now. So strange.” – Ines Thoma
